Step 4: Domain RegistrationI trust you have completed
all the tasks in Day 1's lesson? If not, Ask yourself this: "Nothing Is Going To Happen If You Don't Take Action!!!" Right, let's choose and register your domain name! Although you have to give this step some serious thought, you don't need to spent too much time on this. If you have completed the tasks in Day 1, then most of the hard word has been done! Take your keyword list from your keyword research and have a look at your 3 most profitable keywords. (These are the ones with a high search count and low optimized google competition) See if you could come up with a 2 (or 3) word keyword that decribes your website the best. Once you have your new domain name you must check to see if it is still available. You can do this within your domain registrar account. I've been using www.Godaddy.com for the past 6 years and never had any problems with their service. You are welcome to use your prefered domain registrar to register domain name. Yes, 6 years! I have create 2 websites within the first 5 years. It was making some money, but I never really understand the concept of "Taking Action" I was reading marketing book after marketing book, downloading all the free software I could find, but I never really used any of it! All my other sites were created during the last 5 - 6 months. I now have 17 profitable websites. This would not have been possible if I kept on reading marketing books and hoping that my 2 sites were going to make me rich! I don't want you to make the same mistake as I have. The most important advice I could give you through out this 5 day course is to: TAKE ACTION! Start using the knowledge you have! You will certainly not see any positive results if you don't TAKE ACTION! Before you head of to www.GoDaddy.com and login to your account, I want you to first go to Google and do a quick search. The normal price for a new .com domain name with Godaddy is $9.95 There is a "trick" to get a .com domain cheaper than that through Godaddy. I paid $7.20 for my latest domain name registered at Godaddy. I once paid $5.60 for 2 new domains with a godaddy domain discount code I have found on Google. (That code is no longer in use - I tried it with my latest domain) Anyway, go to google and do a search for the following: "godaddy codes" I am not going to give my godaddy discount code to you. I want you to take action and search for your own discount code. You will find these codes on the first google results page. Yeah, I know it's not a big saving, but if you are in the position I was once, you would appreciate ANY tip that will save you money. Besides your online business is going to cost you under $ 10 a year. How difficult can it be to make a profit on that? $10 / 12months = $0.833 meaning that you only need to make $0.84 per month to be in profit! Most of the affiliate programs I promote pays $25 and up commission. One sale per year and I'm in profit! I do make more sales than that per year, but you get my point. So go to Google
and search for you discount codes. Godaddy will ask you about your hosting. You need to provide them with your DNS address. (DNS = Domain Name Server) I will give you the dns server addresses of the company I use in the next step. The next step will save you some more money! Continue
