Lesson 3

"Content Creation"

"Nothing Is Going To Happen If You Don't Take Action!!!"

If you took action and had a look at what Jamroll can give you and compare that to a paid hosting account, I'm sure that you are impressed with their service and can't wait to create your account! So let's start by creating some website content. You have 2 days to complete this task. Your domain name should be ready by then to create your hosting account.

I splitted this lesson in 5 parts. Don't worry, you'll get all 4 parts today!

1) Squeeze Page, Thank you Page
2) Confirmation Page
3) Course Content Pages

4) Autoresponder Messages

5 ) Website Content

Step 6.1 - Squeeze & Thank You Page

What are squeeze pages? Squeeze pages have one major task and that is to capture your visitor's email address, for follow-up marketing. You don't put any other advertising (affiliate programs / google adwords etc. ) on these pages execpt a "teazer" message and a form to fill in.

Other ads and thing on these pages will distract your visitor and you might loose the opportunity to get their details.

You can driver traffic to these pages with traffic exchange links, autosurf programs ect.

I'm sure you had a look at the squeeze page template you downloaded in Day 1? Now is the time to customize them with your details and create your html squezza page. For now ignore the "submit" button code. You will change that later... Just create your html squeeze page and save it you website folder. I usually just save it to my website root folder. (You do this on your local pc and not your hosting account)

My folder setup look like this:

"My Documents"
........"My Online Business"
..............."My Websites"
......................"Niche Site One"
............................ "Products"
............................ "HTML"
..................................."images"
................................... "downloads"

- Change "Niche Site One" to your niche site name ie. Gardening
- Create your Squeeze pages in the HTML folder
- Save all your graphics (buttons, headers etc) in the images folder

It's good to have all things organized

You need to create a thank-you page after your squeeze page.

In your thank you page, thank the visitor for subscribing and tell then that they will receive an email with a link to click on. They need to double opt-in. Tell them to click on that link to receive their ecourse.

Also make a short list of some of the advantages of your e-eourse. Try and get them excited to click on the confirmation email link.

I usually save my thank-you page in my website root folder.

Step 6.2 - Confirmation Page

Now create your "confirmation" page. This is the page your visitor will see after clicking on the confirmation link in the email.

Thank them for taking the time to confirm their subscription and tell them what they can expect from you, like when the first lesson will arrive etc. Sometimes I would put one link to an affiliate product on this page, but not always. This is how I do it. I thank them for clicking on the confirmation link and tell them that their 1st lesson will arrive the following day. Then I add my aff link to the page and tell them that while they are waiting for the first lesson they might as well go and look at my aff page because their are more great information about the niche that I PERSONALLY find valuable.

I don't try and sell anything to them on this page. I just tell them to go to the aff page and I let the aff page do the selling. That is why it's important to select a product with a good sales page.

Step 6.3 - Course Content Page

Now it is time to create your 5 day course content. (you can make this course span accross more days, but I usually make it 5 days)

Go find forums and faq pages on your related niche. Do a search on Google for these terms and you should be ok: (Use the quotation marks in your search)

+"niche name" +"forum"
+"niche name" +"faq"
+"niche name" +"questions"
+"niche name" +"advice"
+"niche name" +"tips"

Also go to www.answers.yahoo.com and search for your niche. Another good place is Google Groups. Look out for the type of questions people ask about your chosen niche. Make a list and then do some reseach online (or in your local library) and find the answers to those questions. Now create you ecourse based on these questions.

This is what I have done with this course you are reading now. I saw that there is a lot of questions being asked about a free step-by-step method to create a profitable website. Since I know how to do that, I decided to create this website and ecourse to provide people a free method to start their online business.

Make use of the free templates you have downloaded in day one and save your e-course pages to your website folder.

Once that is completed, you can go to the next step. Your autoresponder messages.

(AutoResponder Messages)
