My autoresponder
is a very important part of my Niche websites. I have done some
testing with and without an autoresponder on the same site and noticed
that my income increased by about 40% with the autoresponder.
Step
8 - Autoresponder Configuration
Time to get your autoresponder ready. Login to
your autoresponder account.
I hope you did get a paid version. There are so many advantages
with a paid auto responder. Some of them: You can send unlimmeted
follow up messages. You can send a "mail blast" to ALL
your subscribers. This means that if you something great to offer
your subscribers you can send an email to ALL of them at the same
time. This is not possible with a free autoresponder account.
Also it is better not to host your autoresponder
on your own site, due to the sent mail limits of your hosting company.
It is usually set at 150 messages per hour, meaning you cannot sent
more than 150 emails in one hour. This is a problam when you have
500, 1000, or more newsletter subscribers.
Login to your autoresponder account and take time
to get familiar with your account admin area.
Go to the configure / setup options and create
your autoresponder. Setup your inital / confirmation message. There
should be a field for your confirmation url. Add your confirmation
page address in this field.
Now start creating your follow-up messages. This
is your 5 day course messages. Set the delivery time option for
these messages. For my niche sites, I usually set the deliver time
between messages for 2 days, meaning that my subscribers will get
an email every 2nd day. You can change this value to whatever you
want. Just don't make the time delay too long.
That's it. Your autoresponder is set-up!
Now test it. Be your own first subscriber. Check
that all the links in your autoresponder are working fine!
