What
I like about this concept is that if you are willing to work hard
to build a residual-income-based system in the intial phase, it
will be possible to reap the benefits of your intial work, for years
to come!
This
is not impossible. There are lots of examples of this type of income
and the first that comes to mind is website hosting / internet access.
If you sell a website hosting package to a customer, you would keep
on earning income whenever that customer pay his / her fee. Your
earnings from that one customer will keep on for years to come.
Other
examples are internet service provider, cable tv, telephone service,
insurance premiuns etc. Unfortunately, there are many passive income
opportunities available that promise you un-imaginable riches, but
never deliver. You need to make sure that the company whos products
you wish to sell, has a good track-record.
Residual
income is the tyoe if income I want and there are many other people
like me. I makes better business sense to earn a recurring income
from a one time sale, that to just earn a one time commission.
It's
so simple, yet there are so many peopel that just can't understand
this concept.

This
is a very powerful concept, yet so little people understand this
concept. It means that you keep on earning income from once-off
work you have done in the past without the need of more work.

I think the best example would be selling a subscription service
that pays you a recurring commission on all future subscription
fee's.
